Regenerative Based Care For Your Health

We offer evidence-based regenerative health care to our patients. Our personalized one on one approach is centered around what is most important to you. Pain and dysfunction can limit your ability to enjoy your life and to take care of the things that matter most to you.

Our first step is to consult with a new patient. We review the history of your problem and find out how it is affecting your lifestyle. Pain is a good motivator to seek help, however, most people are equally as concerned about how the pain is preventing or limiting them from doing the activities that they most enjoy. If your problem is interfering with your ability to do the things that matter to you then your quality of life suffers.

Patients tell us all the time about how pain is keeping them from enjoying their hobbies or affecting their work or more simply their ability to complete daily tasks around their home. Long-standing problems begin to affect energy, sleep, and other aspects of health. Whatever it is that pain is preventing you from doing, our goal is to help you get back to doing what you love most.

After our consultation, we then evaluate the area of your complaint and other potentially involved regions to help us to determine what is generating your pain. Most importantly a proper evaluation provides the information we need to personalize your treatment.

REGENERATIVE MODALITIES: HOW WE HELP YOU

1.) FOCUSED SHOCKWAVE

Focused Shockwave treatment to the Lumbar Spine (lower back)

This advanced technology generates complex, precise, non-invasive high intensity mechanical pulses at targeted depths that are absorbed into the tissues and through complex molecular and cellular level signaling reduces pain, decreases inflammation, increases blood flow, and stimulates and accelerates the healing process. After treatment, damaged tissues regenerate and heal over time. This non-invasive outpatient procedure represents a breakthrough in regenerative treatment options for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Shockwave treatment is one of the best options for tendon, ligament, joint, and bursal diseases that cause pain, inflammation, and dysfunction.

2.) CLASS IV MEDICAL LASER

K-Laser with protective eyewear in the cases

Class IV Medical Laser, also known as High Intensity Laser Therapy, targets damaged tissue with specific wavelengths of light that have been found to interact with tissue and accelerate the healing process. This FDA cleared therapeutic treatment manages pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue healing and regeneration. Laser energy increases circulation drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients  to the damaged area, creating an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, stiffness, and pain. Class IV Laser can be used for a variety of both acute and chronic conditions.

3.) HIGH ENERGY INDUCTIVE THERAPY (HEIT)

Touch screen interface of the HEIT device

The emField is a non-invasive therapeutic device. The device produces a magnetic field that interacts with the tissues of the human body. Healthy human cells provide a highly efficient medium for conducting electromagnetic energy. Every cell and its membrane have an electrical charge, but when cells are damaged or become unhealthy, they lose much of their conductivity and their capacity for optimal function. Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are known to increase cellular energy and optimize cellular function. High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT) uses EMFs to activate the electrical chemistry of cells, to improve the function of damaged musculoskeletal tissues.

In the United States of America, federal law restricts this device to use only under the order of a physician. As part of the initial new patient assessment, coordination of this therapy is done in conjunction with Dr. AJ Barrett DO as part of the new patient intake.

4.) SPINAL DECOMPRESSION

Decompression therapy involves using motorized traction to gently stretch the spine. This in turn relieves the pain and helps  restore function. Stretching and relaxing the spine intermittently in a controlled manner creates a negative pressure within the disc. This helps with fluid exchange within the central part of the disc which brings essential nutrients and hydration into these areas to assist in healing. Our program is complimented with extensive non-invasive regenerative medicine procedures that reduce pain, decrease inflammation, tighten ligaments, and strengthen muscles. The goal is a stronger, healthier, pain free spine.

5.) CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Chiropractic care called spinal adjustments are beneficial for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. An adjustment is a manual technique that is applied to the spine to correct motion segments that exhibit improper motion. Often, there is muscle tension and myofascial dysfunction referred to as trigger points which may be also contributing to spinal pain. In many instances, patients report relief from pain, stiffness, and tension following an adjustment.

Chiropractic in many cases is a vital part of our patient care. During your visit, one of our doctors will determine what area of your spine may require an adjustment. Chiropractic is typically used in conjunction with one or more of our regenerative therapies to initiate a healing response and provide the best outcomes to our patients.
